New and improved Wii systems
Nintendo although had sold many consoles especially when compared with the competitors but that doesn’t mean that they are now satisfied with their success. In fact, its sales now have been slowly tapering off, with the PS3 and Xbox 360 doing better. Nintendo of course noticed this and although they do not have any plans for price war, its Japanese company has come up with a new package for people living stateside. From May 9th onwards, it was heard that Nintendo will throw in additional elements to the baseline Wii system package. Now you will get Wii Sports Resort as well as the control-enhancing Wii MotionPlus in addition to the standard Wiimote, Nunchuk and Wii Sports staple. Moreover, you can also opt for the new black option and the best part is, there isn’t going to be any price hike as Nintendo maintains a $199.99 price point to entice new customers. How cool is that!
If you have used Wii before but that has not yet picked up the DVD-sized console, then Wii Sports Resort might be just the thing to change your mind. It expands on the active-play fun of the original Wii Sports, boasting resort-themed activities including wakeboarding, archery and swordplay. Wii Sports Resort also brags the rich control enhancements of Wii MotionPlus which lets one experience precision motion-control excitement. It’s offered in Black to blend in with every type of background. (Good for those who like to keep it all matched)
